This particular set of four chairs dates to circa 1958. They have steel wire frames, and their original yellow naugahyde two piece 'bikini' seat covers. The eiffel tower base is quintessential Eames, and is one of their most well known design concepts. This set is notable for a few reasons. The pads and chairs in general are shockingly superb

The table was a showroom model from my understanding and appears new

The condition of the wood is very good to excellent with beautiful patina formed on the oak frame

This sofa was acquired along with two matching armchairs

The chairs were custom ordered for the executive suite of a corporate office in New York City

The cognac leather shows a lovely patina and frames are nicely worn in as well

This particular example was manufactured in Denmark in 1979
