A reflection of its history while looking to the future simultaneously

Volnay was awarded its own appellation for red wines in 1937

just starting in the red fruit spectrum which is what I like in most Bordeaux

There is verve and brightness here

just west of Libourne and the wines are considered superior to those of Fronsac

A small crop with the lack of labour and materials available

This wine is the result of a very strict selection

It was certainly a better vintage on the right bank

and has reunited the two through a joint vineyard management system

regionally distinct wine

The 2020 vintage was very good for the region
