The first depicts a group of passengers posed beside a train car with a handwritten caption indicating they are picnicing (6 1 2" x 5 1 2") The second, smaller photograph shows two uniformed railroad conductors or ticket takers standing together (4 7 8" x 4 3 4"). Both mounted on period boards. Exhibits light wear, minor toning, and surface marks consistent with age and handling.
