Last Highlights of the DayAs the sun begins to set on the West Coast, the last strong rays touch on the inselbergs and taller Joshua trees of the high Mojave Desert in Joshua Tree National Park. Captured near the parking lot for the Barker Dam Nature Trail, I like the way the tallest inselberg, the spines of the Joshua Trees, and the few clouds catch the light only in the sky. I caught this guy early this morning in Sitka on his way to his office

the sunrise temperatures were merely a degree or two above freezing)

On a early morning walk though Stratford Upon Avon

so inspiring even though it is both joyful and sad at times

I got this one shot

a warm sea breeze

the first of the natural bridge and surrounding rocks just after the sun had set (f/8 @24mm for 71 seconds

I proceeded to mirror the image and manipulate where I wanted the actions to take place

During low tide there is an abundance of tide pools and great shelling along the coast

at the break and as we walked in at last light we were treated to these sunsets
