Hardy Bros. Palakona "Victor" Bamboo Casting RodFor sale here is a very early Hardy Bros. Palakona bamboo casting rod with form fit wooden case. The rod is in good condition for its age. Serial number A44825, made in 1909. Six feet six inches in length. The varnish is a bit rough with some meltdown here and there. Some varnish has worn off of the wrap of the very bottom guide. All guides are secure and intact. The agate tip top guide could be a replacement. All the guides have agate inserts, all
and of that number only approximately 25 were made by Paul himself
hard to find in such amazing clarity on these very old reels
