Oval Serving TrayThis Oval Serving Tray is made from a stoneware clay with a white shino glaze. The interior shell markings are from freshwater clam shells reacting with the surface creating a 'man made fossil' imprint. It has been fired in a wood soda kiln to 1300c. The handle is carved diamond willow from our property, penetrated with oil and tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.
