Denslow, published by M. A. Donohue & Co., Chicago. A later reprint based on the 1903 Bobbs Merrill edition, retaining Denslows distinctive illustrations and pictorial endpapers featuring the Cowardly Lion among poppies. Bound in black pictorial cloth with gilt and color illustrated front cover showing the Scarecrow and crow motif. Condition is poor,
There are a couple of very small spots of paint loss
Accompanied by a period paperboard hat box with green covering
Vintage pair of hollow cast pot metal bookends depicting seated wolves before a foliage background with a silver-toned finish
