It is made of wood and has beautiful multi colored wood inlay on all sides of the box. It measures 10 inches in length, 6 1 4 inches in width and 4 1 4 inches in height. It has a canvas cloth lining on the very bottom so it will not scratch furniture. It has a small chip in the vaneer on the edge of the very front panel. Other than that, it is still in great

It has secure silver metal closure clasps on each side on the front and a leather top handle for carrying

It is signed on the bottom in gold
