Gary Howells Bamboo Rod 7' 2/2 #5For sale here is a gorgeous bamboo rod in excellent condition built by the late Gary Howells 7 feet for a 5 weight, weighing 2 5 8 oz in a 2 2 format. Skeleton cork seat, half wells grip, blued guides, original bag and tube, but sticker on the tube has come off over time in pieces, so I taped it back together. Some of the bluing on the stripping guide has worn off. No issues with the cane. Ferrule fit is perfect with both tips. No sets, all sections

Capacity is WF8+190 or WF9+160

The model was introduced in 1950 when Jim Payne developed a new set of faster dry fly tapers

It appears the reel has been professionally cleaned and polished
