Lot 052 - Antique Parke, Davis & Co. “Erythroxylon Coca” Powdered Extract Amber Glass Bottle With Original Paper Label And Contents, Detroit, Michigan, 3-1/2" HPre Auction Notes: An antique amber glass pharmaceutical bottle from Parke, Davis & Co., Detroit, labeled Erythroxylon Coca Powdered Extract. The bottle retains both its front and rear labels as well as matching embossed makers marks on the base. Labels are severely darkened with age but remain mostly intact. Late 19thearly 20th century coca preparation, produced prior to federal regulation of cocaine in 1914.
Frame has losses to pressed gesso
They are in great condition with minimal wear
