Lot 271 - Vintage Red Leather Gilt Lettered “Bridge” Book Safe Playing Cards Box With Divided Interior, Early To Mid-20th CenturyDecorative box designed to resemble a red hardcover book titled Bridge, with gilt lettering on the spine and gilt design on the covers. The interior features divided compartments, likely intended for playing cards or game accessories. The front cover includes a recessed circular area containing a heavily worn and rusted metal disk, possibly originally a mirror. A bite shaped loss is present at the top of the spine. General wear and tear consistent
including loosening cap frame
which remains securely attached and in excellent condition with a well-executed tape repair to a prior tear
