On this day she arrived with her hair down, then she picked some flowers from my yard and sprinkled them in her beautiful hair, This hand pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel carbon black and warm sepia ink, with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemhle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 8 numbered prints

I've spent the last 30 winters in Portland Oregon wearing long underwear from October to March

I have photographed this woman a few times over the years

I have never be a photographer who seeks out the iconic views of known places

I strive to make pictures that challenge time

then she picked some flowers from my yard and sprinkled them in her beautiful hair

these feelings of sustenance

It is interesting to me how different it felt to be staying in an apartment

This polymer photogravure print is made on rives BFK paper and printed with Charbonnel intaglio inks by artist Ray Bidegain
