Antique Brass Victorian Ladies Boot Shoe Cobblers Display Sign Oil Lamp Light Reflector 1800's Original Hand Made Miniature Art SculptureThis is a lovely original antique Victorian ladies boot sculpture oil lamp light reflector from the late 1800's. They would have originally been made to be placed to reflect light from an oil lamp to make a room brighter before electricity. It is solid brass and is quite heavy so it can also be used as a bookend. It has lovely hand etched details on the front of the boot. It is attached it it's original solid brass stand. It measures 4 1 2 inches in
It measures 8 1/2 inches or 22 cm tall including the top stopper and 4 inches or 10 cm in diameter
9 inches or 23 cm in width and 2 3/4 inches or 7 cm at the highest
It sits over a tea cup or mug
It is made of aluminium metal with some type of melted celluloid or resin
It has a beautiful scene of a mother and daughter looking at the beautiful landscape
The bottom is stamped MP with a tree in the center and numbered 5071
The rim is hallmarked but the marks are faint so I am not able to make out the year it was made
This is an original vintage oak wood picture frame from the 1920's
