This is a facsimile reprinting of the scarce 1934 1st edition
The varnish shows evidence of prior softening but remains in very good condition and not soft
The rod remains in near mint+ condition
The bag closes via a plastic buckle
There are matching "4" stamps on each part of the reel
although both Edwards tips
The reel's diameter is 3 3/8" but the spool width is more narrow than the Model 500
