Ultimate Truth

Ultimate TruthUltimate Truth is a highly stylised blue and black print with a design representing shooting stars and planets with worlds colliding. We used Proxima Nova typeface and it's one of my original typography prints. Contrasting negative and positive space is created through the use of sharp lines, circles and differently weighted strokes with the use of fills. These elements create a sense of movement within the work. Towards the top left of the print

The design was created to be symmetrical which with the use of circles enables it to have it a natural balance and not be overly busy

One of the most important gestalt theory tenants in relation to visual perception is "The whole is other than the sum of its parts" in which case

the whole space/moon artwork is different from the individual lines
