I’ve always liked drawing skulls and skeletons but most of the time I’ve drawn them in art classes as studies or practice for other drawings

My goal was to use visual patterns to represent patterns in the life of a sea turtle

I once read of an ancient myth that the earth was formed on the back of a turtle traveling through the cosmos

Manatee and all that he can eat

My idea for this drawing also inspired my idea for this entire series of drawings and a new direction for my art

So I decided to do a little art therapy and draw a flamingo in my style of drawing
