Seaside Serenity

Seaside SerenityWindansea Beach, in La Jolla, California, has a storied past that does not necessarily convey serenity. But this scene, absent surfer gangs, (or any other people for that matter), brings home the idea that this little shack by the ocean provides a quiet respite, for all comers, not just surf observers and waxed boards in between sets. All prints arrive without watermark and ready to hang.

this is a single frame semi-long exposure taken a few minutes before sunset in the wine country of temecula valley (the grape vines pictured here had just been recently harvested by lorimar winery for their newest cabernet sauvignon vintage)

a stable and sturdy tripod was an absolute necessity for this composition in order to keep both images sharp in the places i wanted sharpness
