Antique Needlepoint Tapestry of Basket of Flowers in Gold Gilt Frame Late 1800's - Early 1900's Hand Made Original Floral Needle PointThis is an original antique needlepoint tapestry of beautiful flowers in a basket. It comes in it's original gold gilt frame and has a glass covering. The frame measures 13 1 4 inches in height and 14 inches in width. The frame has some chips and damage around the edges as photographed. The visible part of the tapestry measures 7 1 2 inches in height and 8 1 4 inches in width. It still has the framing sticker on the back from when it was originally
4 1/2 inches in width and 1 inch in height
It has a wonderful checkered inlay on the top
The front has a hand etched ship or boat and the other side has a building like the Taj Mahal
It has a repaired crack as you can see on the bottom as well as chips in the paper mache on the bottom but these are not very visible on the top
It is lined inside with a very soft yellow cloth fabric and it has an inside pocket
It has hand etched / engraved ferns on the sides
5 cm in height and the width is adjustable as you adjust the magnification
the medium one measures 5 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches in height and the smallest measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches tall
It has a small surface chip in the paint only which is on one of the bottom feet as shown in the photos
I am certain you will receive lots of compliments on this one
I am not sure if the end of the stem has been broken or if it was made this way
This is an original antique Japanese Nippon ceramic pottery vase from 1890 - 1920
