Lot 014 - Antique Punchwork Embroidery Country Scene With Running Dogs In Greek Key Gesso Frame, Note Staining, 18-1/2" x 14-1/2"Antique punchwork embroidery depicting a country scene with running dogs, housed in a Greek key decorated gesso frame. The piece shows water staining in the lower left and right corners along with other scattered stains. Frame exhibits gesso losses and wear. Retains its original wood back and nails, with some later nails added for stability.
