Co.), Bridgeport, Connecticut, With Custom Leather Sheath, 15-1/2" LAntique No. 521 Bowie hunting knife featuring an 812" blade and a stag antler handle hand carved with the name Mar Karian. Manufactured by the Bridgeport Gun and Implement Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Includes a custom leather sheath, the tip of which is missing. Blade and sheath show wear from age and use, and the blade requires sharpening.
Pre-Auction Notes: Wear and cracks in small wooden box
as well as beautiful decorative scrolling throughout the black border
the only word of which I can make out is Roxbury
It would be great as a tip tray or leave-a-penny tray in a bar or store
