Brunello di Montalcino Giovanni NeriWinter 2020 was marked by mild temperatures and below average rainfall. A return of cold weather at the end of March slowed the vegetative recovery, but bud break was in line with previous years. Spring continued as usual with mild weather. Flowering and fruit set occurred under optimal conditions. June saw excellent rainfall. Summer was warm and sunny, without excessive temperatures. All this led to a slow and steady ripening of the grapes.
