Davenport StoleThe Davenport fabric, exclusive to Watts & Co, was re woven to celebrate the centenary of G. F. Bodley, its designer, in 2007. The patterns' origins can be found in Venice from the time of the Doge and most famously can be seen as the hanging in Hans Holbein the Younger's 'The Ambassadors'. It is combined here with orphreys in Watts Gothic Trellis braid, referencing the church architecture of the Gothic Revival. This creates an apt link to our
