I have never be a photographer who seeks out the iconic views of known places

and warm sepia inks with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemühle copperplate paper

I pick some up each year with plans to make pictures

I was stunned by the beauty of this Oak tree with a light fog in the air

I wanted the texture and shape to sing so I made the plate larger than my usual size

and an edition of 10 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints

I don't often plan the process before the picture but in this case the feel of the Washi was on my mind

This polymer photogravure print is made on Arches paper and printed with Charbonnel intaglio inks by artist Ray Bidegain

Attached to this church is bell tower for Bordeaux that was built in the 14th century
