It has a copper metal shield on the front and two separate compartments for paper, envelopes, pens, etc. It measures 8 1 2 inches or 21. 5 cm in length, 5 inches or 2512. 8 cm in height and 3 inches or 7. 7 cm in depth. It has some light surface scratches as photographed due to age and use and other than that, it is in very good condition for its age.
