Basket Vase (Black Crackle)This Flower Basket is made from a stoneware clay with cobalt slip and crackle white glaze decoration. It has been fired in a wood soda kiln to 1300c. The handle is carved diamond willow from our property, penetrated with oil and tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.
